The following is a list of our Comrades and friends that have passed away. Although they are gone their memory will remain with us forever ... Lest We Forget.

List By Branches

Branch 001 became the first Royal Canadian Legion Branch formed outside North America and is located in the village of Söllingen, Germany. Söllingen is located just outside the former Canadian Forces Base Baden which is today the Baden Airpark. In 1980 when the Branch formed we could boast of a large membership however when the Canadian Forces departed CFB Baden in 1993 the future of the Branch looked grim but through hard work and dedication of the members that remained in this area the Branch survived. The Branch Clubhouse is presently located in the Gasthaus Zum Löwen in Söllingen.
Branch 002 is named the Benson & Harper Branch in memory of two Canadian Flyers who were shot down during The First World War near Lahr and were originally buried in the Bergfriedhof in Lahr. Later their bodies were reburied in a Commonwealth Cemetery near Kassel, Germany. Formed also in 1980 with a survival story much the same as Branch 001. The Branch clubhouse is presently located in the Gasthaus Linde in Reichenbach.
Branch 003 formed in 1989 at Geilenkirchen, in North West Germany near the Dutch Border. The majority of the members in this Branch are from the Canadian Armed Forces serving with NATO AWACS Service or the Canadian Support Unit at the Niederheit Kaserne in Geilenkirchen. The Legion is located in the village of Teveren.
Branch 004 called "Friends of Canada Branch was formed also in the Lahr area in 2002 and is located in the town of Kippenheim.
Branch 005 was established appropriately named the "Liberation of the Netherlands Branch" in 2003 and is located in Lochem near the city of Apeldoorn, The Netherlands.
