Liberation of the Netherlands Ceremonies 2008

Again this year we were honoured to participate in the Annual Liberation of the Netherlands Ceremonies as we have done since 1985. This year we provided a Colour Party and took part in the ceremony at the Canadian War Cemetery in Holten on 4 May and the celeberation in Wageningen on 5 May. Both ceremonies were done under perfect weather condition and with tremendous participation from local Dutch citizens. In addition we were also honoured to have present war veterans and legionnaires from Canada. The other outstanding memory would have to be the participation of school children and young Dutch citizens.
